I Caved In
I have heard great things about this novel for years, so I finally bought it today. I’m talking about The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.
I must say that so far, it’s good. And it’s interesting, the way the story is told. I’ve never read a book before where the main character is a dead girl telling her story as she’s watching it from heaven. Very intriguing. Well, when I finish it I’ll let everyone know what I think =]
Tomorrow’s Friday!!!! Well, I suppose it’s technically Friday because it’s 1 in the morning, but whatever.
I think I’ve lost weight!! My face isn’t as fat as it was. I’m pretty sure. Also, my pants keep damn near falling off my ass. I have to wear a belt. Maybe I should buy new pants =] I’ve damn near cut eating out OUT of my diet. I pretty much eat out once a week, if that. Last week I don’t think I ate out at all. I’ve saved a lot of money. Well, I haven’t been eating as much as I should either I suppose. I’ve just been eating small meals a couple times a day. I think that’s why I’ve been getting some serious dizzy spells. If I turn my head too fast, I feel dizzy. Sometimes it’s so intense I can’t move for like 10 seconds. I don’t know.

Aww hey, be careful, love! I can understand, though. I’ve been dieting for a few days now, but really, it isn’t a diet as much as it is starvation. I could see it becoming a problem, I think. Take care of YOU, okay? Try, at least. Take a multivitamin, perhaps.
Sounds like an interesting book. Will keep an eye open to find out what you think after finishing. I have Chelsea Handler’s book to read, but I’ve been putting it off FOREVER! I’m so bad about that, at times.
Hells yeah for Fridays!
All of Alice Sebold’s books are great. =]
Oh…I need to read that book too. No spoilers!
And be careful with that. It sounds like the dizziness is coming from the no eating as you say. Try to eat a bit more, please? That can be dangerous. And I wouldn’t want to see/hear anything bad happening to you.
@Nitzchiya - I’m not trying to be half anorexic, I promise. I just eat when I’m hungry, and I haven’t been as hungry lately. I don’t know why. I’ve been thinking about buying some sort of mult-vitamin. I don’t know.
@TakingxOverxMe - My sister has Lucky, and I started reading it one night. Well, I never got to finish, but I was hooked. That’s actually what I was looking for in the store, but Barnes and Noble didn’t have it! I was like wtf…so I bought The Lovely Bones instead
@sweetlovinlife - Aww, thanks =] I’ll be okay. I eat when I’m hungry, I’ve just been eating less than normal.
Okie. Have you thought of drinking fruit smoothies maybe your stomach could handle that instead of reg. food? Just a suggestion and your very welcomes.
I love that book. I cried in the middle of it. :[ Hope you enjoy it.
I think I heard about that book back in high school and thought it sounded good, I’ll have to check it out
New pants are good, I had to do that a while ago too, but mostly cause all the old ones had major thigh holes, lol.
I read the book in HS and I loved it. Such a good book.
If you’re not eating a lot, at least take some vitamins and maybe get some drink supplements. Don’t want to see you get into serious shit!!! Your internal organs can be permanently damaged from malnutrition. I’m not trying to scare you, just a little reminder.
Happy Friday
@sweetlovinlife - I love smoothies! But in the kitchen of where I’m currently living, I refuse to cook in such a disgusting place. I will once I move =]
@LilSweetJew - Oh no, I think someone else told me they cried too =[
@smurfkick24 - Yeah, I've had many holes in my pants before too haha
@WifeOfAGayHusband - I'm glad so many people enjoyed it! I know I will then.
@dikdoktor - I was actually thinking about going shopping before I go to work =] I’ll probably get some vitamins and some more food. I think part of it has to do with the fact that where I’m living right now, it’s just too gross to cook in. The most I’ll do is heat up frozen stuff in the microwave =[
Good. Just be careful. Hey, I’m losing too! We rock, huh?
Yes, I think we do.
I actually just bought that book yesterday after a seeing a preview of the movie. I like to read the books before I see the movies. It’s so amazing. I haven’t put it down since.
I’m almost finished already.
