Last Day!!
It’s the last day to get 1/2 off shipping prices!! Also, if you would like a custom order, don’t hesitate to contact me…
And, for the science fiction fans out there, I may be coming out with some scents that reflect characters in shows such as Doctor Who and Firefly (as an example, Kaylee’s character would consist of a light, summery, floral scent, because she’s gentle, genuine, and positive, and the Captain’s scent would be something like Dragon’s Blood..heavy with patchouli…). The reason is, one of my friends pointed me towards a science fiction convention that happens locally in July, so I may try and get a table there, getting in with my themed science fiction scents.
So if you’d like 50% off shipping, you can order on Etsy, and I will issue a refund for half the shipping cost. Also, Spring Rain is almost completely sold out…it’s a very popular fragrance…
And now, I’m going to make some bacon.

The problem with selling candles is if you put into consideration the amount of time you spend on each candle, and the amount of money you get for each one, you start to realize that to make a living off of this will take a lot of time for small peanuts. And that is why, you should think about making products that will generate the most money, perhaps you can sell perfumes.
@RulerofMasons - Actually, there’s nothing wrong with making candles. There’s many successful online candle companies. All one needs is a wide network, and I already have returning customers. I don’t know why you’re so negative.
I really don’t mean to be negative!!!!! I am just testing your business, trying to make you see things my way, like I said, how many candles do you need to sell to make a minimum amount, and how much time will that take, have you thought about it? Sorry for my ignorance, I just get the impression that it takes time to make a candle.
@RulerofMasons - It doesn’t take that much time if you’re doing more than one at a time..like in bulk. I could pour probably 100 a day…and I just need to get another double boiler so I can do more than one fragrance at a time.
Woah. That is awesome. You were right all along, all you need is a customer base, and expand it, so that you can sustain yourself. I’m sure if you do enough marketing, you will get the customers you need. If you really think about it, the time you spend on school can be holding you back, you could be trying to chase two rabbits at once.
@RulerofMasons - Yes, I know…I’ve been spending more time researching candles and soaps than my homework…but if I completely drop out, I have to start re-paying my student loans right away. I may take just a class a semester for a while. I’m going to start looking into more places I can market, and one of my friends said that a friend of his that owns several tanning salons would put my business cards at the front desk at his salons…so things like that..just going into places and asking if I can drop some business cards for display. But first, I need a business card that looks good when I print it.
I AM STILL HUNGRY FOR BACON, WTF
I NEED TO GO TO THE STORE NAOOOOOOOO
I have a friend, his wife makes candles and also makes the stick candles and she sells about 2,500 dollars worth a month, on two places, one is ebay and the other I don’t know.
She has 32 scents, and I have some of her scents. Apple Pie, is my favorite. And when you smell it you would think it was really apple pie.
Hope you do well. Bro. Doc
