Why do people cry at weddings?
I got emotional a few times during the ceremony..teared up. I just felt like I’ll never get married..and I want to so badly… Oh, I didn’t say on here…my former coworker got married today, Ameer. I used to ask him all the time when him and Jenny were going to get married, and he finally proposed last year. I feel so happy for them, he’s a good guy. But it was a beautiful ceremony, I was glad to be there. The food at the reception was good, chicken with mushrooms and some kind of sauce, salad, rigatoni with mozzarella cheese, and something else. I feel so tired…and the cake was delicious.
It was good to see everyone. The reception was beautiful. Oh, the colors were black, white, and red. I wore shoes I shouldn’t have. Halfway through the night I took them off and walked barefoot, I didn’t even care (and I can’t type, I keep having to hit the delete button…) Annnd, I had three shots of Patron O.O The lime makes it better…it’s not so bad. They played songs like these:
I don’t see how you can hate from outside of the club, you can’t even get it! I dare you to try and rap the Busta Rhymes parts…
Every time I burp I can taste Patron.. (I’m not drunk, promise. The first two shots were at about 5, then the last one I took about 45 minutes before I left…so no driving drunk..)
Anyway. Home now, glad to be…got rid of some more candles that were sold..yay.

I always wear shoes I shouldn’t have to weddings and then end up taking them off so I can dance the night away. Once a guy I was dancing with stepped on my foot, then got annoyed with me for not wearing shoes. Shit, maybe if you knew how to dance we wouldn’t have this problem. Anyways glad you enjoyed yourself at the wedding. I have trouble believing you’re not at least a bit tipsy.
I cried at my dad’s wedding because at the time (i was 13) I didn’t like my step mom and thought she was taking my dad away from me! Ever since they met, my dad and I stopped doing daddy daughter things… but she turned out to be pretty cool. But that’s why I cried. It’s also the only wedding I have ever been to and I was in it!
I don’t cry at weddings, but I’m always a little envious of the whole thing. I, too, always wear shoes I end up taking off halfway through.
@SimplyNita - Haha, nope, just a headache from a lack of caffeine and loud hip hop and rap music! lol I felt light headed after the second shot, but it wore off =]
I almost cried at a high-school friend’s wedding in June – for similar reasons. I pretty much feel like either it’ll be a really long-ass time before I marry or it’ll never happen at all, at the rate I’m going and my shitty track record with guys. (This bitterness may be amplified by the bottle of wine I just drank.)But it sounds like the wedding was a wonderful time, and hooray for selling more candles!
@AlwaysMeForeverSmiling - Aww that would be hard though!@heythereJOANN - Why do we do this to ourselves?? lol! I had meant to bring other shoes, but I forgot, heh.
@Marica0701 - Yep, they’ve been sold out..I just got them in the hands of the person that bought them
And yeah, wine does that..I feel that way..like it’ll never happen. So many people from high school are married and have kids, and I’m all like, oh, yeah, not me…
I have always been happy at weddings. I would probably scream, yell and cuss if some old guy married a woman in her late teens or twenties, but the weddings I’ve been to are love matches.
And I love patron but it makes me black out
women cry at weddings because every little girl dreams of that moment. men cry at weddings because the groom’s life has ended.
I guess the reason people cry at wedding because they are so happy, and the bride and groom are a beautiful couple. That is why I think they cry. Or if they are older they are remembering their day. Bro. Doc
ill never have a weddoing why cant i have a wedding ik not welcoem im thsi worl i courd cdy asnd cyd am dcdy cry cry cry cry cry cry all i wented was wedding
You seem like a decent enough girl…you’ll be married before you know it! I don’t cry at weddings, I just get kind of reflective. If that makes sense.
Busta can spit mad rhymes.
because they are shallow.
I’ve never been to a wedding I enjoyed. I always said I want my wedding to be spectacular, memorable, and no one should be bored for even one second. I do not understand crying at a wedding unless you wanted to marry one of the people. Glad you had a good time. Don’t worry, someone will fall madly in love with you and beg you to marry them.
Omg I said marry to much.PS Maybe I’m drunk
Each wedding is always a happy occasion, a celebration. I love weddings. I’m honored to be invited into one of the most important days of someone’s life.
I’ve cried at weddings but it depends. I sobbed thru my cousins because I was going thru a divorce and watching her dad walk her down the aisle reminded me of my wedding. The next one I was emotional at I got drunk at. Neither was good for me.
I like weddings, it is a gathering of best friends, warm.
