I’ve lost 10 pounds
Well, almost. 9.5 pounds. I can tell in my face..sometimes. I’m just eating less. Today I had a bowl of honey bunches of oats with almonds with a banana and vanilla coconut milk for breakfast. Oh, I love coconut milk…but more so almond coconut milk. I guess I didn’t eat again until dinner, but I ate early. I made a chicken breast in the oven with lemon juice, a little olive oil, cracked pepper, sea salt, Mrs. Dash cajun seasoning, and crumbled feta cheese. I made some mashed potatoes and steamfresh corn, so no added sodium. It was delicious! I should probably eat more..but okay, so a while after dinner I went to make a smoothie with light vanilla ice cream, a dash of milk, strawberries and bananas and a bit of ice. I made it, poured it in a glass, and when I went to grab the milk to put it away, I dumped the goddamn glass and most of my smoothie spilled onto the counter D: Smooth move, ExLax, as my sister used to say…but I drank what was left (about 1/4 of it), and cleaned up the mess, not making another one, since I had used the last banana. Psh whatever. I also had 2 Mountain Dews today…terrible, I know…but now I’m drinking water.
ANYWAY. I finished all my history homework today…ugh. Dry reading..boring. The only aspect I enjoyed reading about was crafting guilds and how they normally operated. Fascinating how materials were produced in those times. But, I have to write a paper that’s due at the end of the semester about a topic that motivated change and continuity in early modern European history. The only one from the list I like is the invention of the printing press in the mid fifteenth century. So, that’s going to be my topic
Also, my pants are looser and I have to hold them up when I walk up and down the stairs…that’s what I don’t like about losing weight. Your pants no longer fit…and who can afford to go out and buy a whole bunch of new jeans?! That shit is expensive.

I know for me 3 years ago I went from 195 to 130 in 2 months, it was unhealthy, but I didn’t do it on purpose. I was living on my own, after a break up, working part time at a gas station. So I had to pay my rent, utilities, cell phone and gas, and after that, no money! I couldn’t afford to feed myself. So the weight went away! Towards the end of the second month, I started constantly getting dizzy when standing up, so I ended up asking my boss if he could help me out some how to get some food. So, he let me eat whatever I wanted there, just save the UPC so he could “damage” it out. I wasn’t trying to lose weight either, just happened. But you seem to be doing it healthy! Stay strong! Good job!
Congrats on your weight loss! I gained a quarter of a pound, which isn’t much but still rather discouraging after all the walking I’ve been doing. That smoothie sounds glorious! Keep up the good work!
