Sick and tired of feeling sick all the time
On and off for weeks I’ve been having internal pains. On my left side, under my boob, underneath my ribcage, I get stabs of pain, like someone is literally stabbing me. It hurts like that for a minute, and then it goes down to a constant ache. It happens randomly, but it feels like it’s getting worse. The last time it happened it was really bad and it hurt really bad for nearly two hours. Sometimes I get less severe pain on my right side, lower but still underneath my rib cage.
Then there’s these goddamn cramps. They were the worst last week Saturday through Wednesday when I couldn’t move or I would be in a lot of pain. They got better but they’re back now that I actually have my period. I took some extended relief Midol an hour ago and they aren’t doing anything. It feels like someone is squeezing my insides in their fist.
Why am I having pains like this? I’ve always had bad cramps, but usually Midol takes away the pain. It didn’t last week either…and why was I getting cramps a week before my period anyway? I’m just sick of feeling like crap. I want to crawl into bed and pull the covers over my head.
Plus, the other day, my heart was pounding really hard for hours. I was just laying there..and it wasn’t racing, just pounding hard, so hard I could feel my heartbeat resonating through my shoulders down to my arms. What the fuck.

I´m not a doctor but from what you describe i´d say GO SEE A DOCTOR!
That pain sounds awful. I wish I could make it go away : (
@stadsjongen - I don’t have health insurance, but I’ve been thinking about going anyway..but what kind of doctor do I even see? I have no idea.
@RulerofMasons - Thank you, me too :/
Ouch… yeah, I have no idea how to help with that. I wonder if any heating pads could help? My mom has sacks of birdseed and then she heats them in a microwave. SO AMAZING for relief.
Also, I’ve discovered that caffeine/sweets are terrible for cramps, so I purposefully avoid chocolate and other things during my period… minus a piece of Dove once in a while haha
Maybe you have something serious, start with drinking more water. If that doesn’t help (I’m thinking maybe your lungs are sticking) then you are probably in deep doo-doo
*hugs*
Sounds like a thorough check-up is in order.
My friend used to get cramps that were really bad like that, but they were over a longer period of time. She would literally be in bed all day because these cramps hurt so much. She finally got to talk to the doctor about it and they figured out that she has endometreosis (sp?). Now she takes hormones. Maybe your hormones are out of whack or something?
We dutchies can go to the family doctor and he’ll get us a prescription or refer us to a hospital.. But as it doesn’t work like that over there i wouldn’t really know.. Just get a doctor to check you up.
