  • I Give Up

So this morning I sent Kyle, the manager at the gym who gave me two free months, an email apologizing for seeming ungrateful. I also said some other stuff about not being able to afford gym membership right now and blah blah. He responded with “Just here to help! Thanks for the message!”

Anyway, I have to get gone, and do my social deviance assignment done. I’m going to stand too close to people. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to do this, since that makes me feel very uncomfortable. But I can’t think of anything else to do.

  • I had to do a social deviance assignment in one of my psych classes. I chose to stand facing the back wall in elevators every time I was in one. It was interesting to say the least.haha.

I had a friemd take a large stuffed animal with her to a restaurant and order food for the animal and everything.
    Have fun. :)

  • I remember some kids in the Dells did a college experiment for a class like that.  They had one guy walking with crutches and another guy would come up and kick a crutch out.  They would then see if people would help or how they’d treat the guy who kicked the crutch.  They also did one with a person carrying books and someone would come up and knock the books out of the person’s hands.  It was quite fun to watch their results.

  • Your social deviance project sounds really interesting!

  • I hate when people stand too close to me.

  • I do not do well when people get to close to me and good for you for being able to go and do this.  I walk outside and can not afford a gym either and at my age walking outside is not just for the body but for the mind and soul also.

  • @heythereJOANN - I found it much more interesting, so I ended up doing what your friend did, taking a stuffed animal to a restaurant and ordering food for it. Very interesting results.
