Feeling Flirtatious?
I would like a Xanga boyfriend or girlfriend. Someone who will playfully banter with me and to flirt with. Someone I can talk to about anything. Maybe I just need a boyfriend or girlfriend PERIOD. Maybe I should join one of those dating sites? I’ve never done that before…. I wonder if it’s worth it. Like is everyone there just looking for people to hook up with? That’s not what I want. I want a relationship. GRR, it’s so frustrating being single.

first, don’t join a dating site. second, all of this is a relationship, it’s called life. third, sigos (significant others) are overrated a lot of the time. just talk to the people you find interesting, no matter how shy you may be. this is the best that I can do for you at present.
@puella_sapiens216 - that idea actually scares me, cuz what happens when you become truly attached and both your lives are completely different from the live you lead on xanga? even if you’re completely honest about your life on xanga you still have other friends and relationships that aren’t confined to the internet and then what happens when a true life decision comes into the mix? other than reality and practicality I like the idea. hahahaha =)

I have nothing wrong with dating, I just don’t understand why if people arent dating (either relationship or casual “relations” or other) they feel unfulfilled…

Xanga isn’t the right place to meet people..O.o; I know a lot of people frustrated with being single all the time..gotta have patience and don’t rush into things. It usually happens when you’re not waiting for it.
@Hinase - Why isn’t xanga the place to meet people? People meet from xanga all the time. There have been people who meet here then get married.
@crazy2love - But that’s a rare occurrence…You have better chances meeting people in real life. I only know one real online couple that made it, and are married for sure.
@Hinase - I don’t think it’s a rare occurrence at all. My uncle met his wife online and they’ve been married for a number of years and have 2 kids.

Okcupid is the best as far as online dating sites go. It’s the only one that’s totally free too. It’s always nice to get compliments from total strangers.
A few friends of mine have had luck on a site called plenty of fish? They seem to really enjoy it.
As frustrating as it might be being single, don’t forget how frustrating and complicated relationships can sometimes be. I was in a relationship for 3 years, and girl, single is the way to be! lol.

But I suppose I can step up to the plate on this one. I was just bemoaning how the XangaMetros was shut down and how I can’t flirt with new people in Minneapolis anymore and, well, you connect the dots. I don’t mind hanging out and having fun and hey, if you’re interested, I don’t think I would put up much resistence. I may be single, but I’m not in the “actively hunting for relationship” stage of my life right now. I just like going out, meeting new people and being creative.
Dating sites are a drag.
I haven’t found anything worthwhile on them, but plenty of my friends have had success with it. Idk.
