The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Have you ever seen this movie? I think you should. It isn’t as good as Schindler’s List, but it’s good.
I feel ill now. This weekend, I will write a better post about it, but right now I feel so sick and disgusted by human behavior I can’t stand it. If you have seen this movie, I think you know what I’m talking about. But for now, I’m going to try going to bed.
What would happen if a holocaust happened in the United States and we were put into concentration camps?

Is it really sad? I’ve been wanting to watch it, but I kind of figure how it’ll end so that’s stopped me. I haven’t been in a crying mood.
I’ve been wanting to see it, but I know it’s going to be a horrible tear jerker.
@live_for_love - Yes, it’s really sad. My friend borrowed it to me today, and I just finished watching it. I cried.
Hmm…I might go and check it out. And….I dunno what would happen. We are so materlialistic and used to a certain way of lving that I don’t know how we’d react to that.
Saddest movie ever!
@QueenOfOreos - It really makes you think, about right and wrong and human nature. I would recommend seeing it.
@iStephanieMarie - That it is =[
I’ve seen it, and America is so spoiled it would be mind blowing to see the reactions if we ever had to go through what they did.
I cried and cried!
“What would happen if a holocaust happened in the United States and we were put into concentration camps”
It totally depends on who would be in them. You see first they (the people in control) would try to demonize whichever group they wish to eliminate. Then they would watch who thought that was a bad idea, and kill them, or persuade them to change their mind. By the time it got to concentration camps, the majority would be under the impression that it was more like a cleansing than a bad thing. And, of course, they would only publicize that it was a sort of jail. Not the torment and starvation.
Just like they did in Germany.
That movie makes me baaaaawl.
Simply put, we’d be screwed.
Schindler’s List disturbed me for months. that’s when my night terrors started.
I do want to see this movie at some point. I also think its a book!
@neverforqetmex3 - Yes, it’s very sad.
@LauraG0929 - I completely agree.
@Ampersands_Anonymous - Me too.
@Queen_of_You188 - Concured.
@raspberryjade - I think it’s a book too, but I haven’t read it.
Torture, terrorism in any form in any part by any country by any religion is wrong disgusted and lamented(:
Haven’t seen it, but I have seen Schindler’s List.

Hope you feel better soon hun x
I really liked that movie. (I love the new layout, btw!)
@whatyouthinkyoubecome - Thanks! =]
My mom and sister watched it with me and sobbed, out loud. It was definitly sad, but good to watch if you want a little perspective on that time and what people actually did and went through.
hmm can you tell me a little about it?
I was in the middle of reading the book when I saw the film. I agree it’s not as good as Schindler’s List but it’s still really good. I definetly cried at the end. It’s such a great story though and worth a watch.
I’d be interested in finding out what Germans would have said if you asked them the same question in 1932.
suchhhhh a good movie
I haven’t watched the movie yet…Did you read the book too..I started to read it but then I thought, I’m just gonna watch the movie one day..
That movie is sooo good, yet soo heartwrenching. It’s awful.
