As if you didn’t know where I was going with this, THANK GOD IT’S FUCKIN FRIDAY. That’s what I say.
It’s been a loooong week at work man. I’ve already worked over 40 hours this week. By the end of the day today, I will be over 50 hours. And let me tell you just one of the reasons I hate my current boss…..
We have these overhead heaters in the warehouse. One of them was on above a door that goes outside. I was hearing this weird whump whump noise. I said, “What the hell is that noise?” My boss says “Oh they’re just chopping ice.”
So for some reason I look up at the ceiling and happen to see a FIREBALL explode from the heater!!! Then after a couple seconds, another fireball came out! I had to yell his name because he’s frickin deaf, and I point to it and say, “Look!”
THAT’S where the whump noises where originating from! So he says, “Yeah, it’s just extra fuel,” like it’s nothing to worry about! He could have been talking about the weather. So, obviously, it turns out that they were NOT chopping ice. And don’t you think fireballs could be a little dangerous?? Like starting the place on fire?! UGGGHHHHH.
Then, a little later he asked me me to jump on a forklift and take some totes down from the rack. So I said “ugh now I have go get my badge…” because my forklift key is on my time clock badge ring. He says “Why don’t you have your badge on you? Hmmm? Crystaaaaaal.” Listen, man, don’t chastise me like I’m a fucking 5 year old, k? He can stick it where the sun don’t shine, the douchebag.
So anyway, thankfully he’s not my boss for much longer because I want to punch him in the face. :/

What an idiot… yeah it’s just a fireball, no big deal. WTF?
One of our lights exploded last week and we had a small fire. But my boss reacted like a sensible human and thought to put it out! Idiots man. Anyway, hope your new one is much better.
I have only had one boss in my life that I wanted to punch. I totally should have too.
Fireballs are only dangerous if you’re the enemy…at least that’s how it works in Mario.

i saw on xanga if you go to their extra credit thing, you can do surverys to get some credits instead of posting/commenting like a mad person to buy your premium

I would think that fireballs would be a bad thing and that should have been obvious but who knows?
Sounds like getting a new boss will be a good thing. @Yohkom - I have only heard bad things from people who tried to do those surveys. Apparently they want your soul in exchange and if you make it to the very very end after hours of giving them all you personal information you are simply told that you don’t qualify and no credits are ever forthcoming. Did you manage to get actual credit out of a survey?
@tsh44 - I tried to do a few today and they want you to do so much work. You click an offer you want to do, but inorder to finish it you have to also do 3 other offers….lame
@Yohkom - Did you ever get to the end of one and get the credits? I have yet to hear from anyone who has actually got credits from it.
