What IS the best video of all time?!
So, in my opinion, Beyonce’s video certainly isn’t the best music video of all time….
So I’m throwing it out there….what music video do you think is the best of all time??
I don’t know…I haven’t watched many music vids in a number of years, but there have been some epic ones. One that always makes me laugh is Pork and Beans by Weezer. I think Sabatoge by the Beastie Boys is awesome…but I don’t really know what my favorite would be…hmm….

I think we should turn this into a contest…what do you say? People throw out suggestions, then everyone can vote. I could even have someone make a graphic…I think it would be pretty sweet.

And music vids I wouldn’t know. I do not watch much of them to be able to give my own opinion on them.
Not the best of all time, but I love the vid to Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. So crazy!
I also love Meat Loaf’s vid to I would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)
Soul Asylum’s, Runaway Train was a sad, but good video about the missing kids.
I always thought Janet Jackson’s, If vid was cool because of the dirty dancing haha.
Pearl Jam’s Jeremy. Disturbing, but good.
The best, though? That’s a good question.

@Nitzchiya - Pearl Jam’s Jeremy is a really good video. I like Meat Loaf’s and Soul Asylum’s too, but I don’t think I’ve seen Janet Jackson’s…if I have, it’s been a really long time.
I would need a couple days to think about that. If i still remember, then i’ll give my opinion.
All the music videos I listen to are nerdy and from the 80s so I will keep it to myself realizing those videos will never get votes from the xanga population.

Oooooh, I couldn’t answer this. But definitely one of my favourites is Cyndi Lauper – Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. The video makes me wanna go wild and run rampant around town.

@TheTheologiansCafe - Actually, I might only be 23, but I grew up listening to 80′s music. One of the local radio stations used to play Friday night 80′s with Lisa Right. My dad and I listened to it every Friday night and he would quiz me on the artist and what the song was called (if Lisa hadn’t already said it, of course).

@OhItWontBeForever - It’s just red right now. I made a declaration a while back…I’m only dying my hair red or black from now on.
Red is awesome.
My hair is jet black. I have never died it, though. The most I’ve done to it is those temporary highlights that wash out, and they look like mascara-sticks. Haha.
I can’t imagine what other colour would suit me, but given the chance, I’d probably choose red!
@OhItWontBeForever - Yeah, if you’re hair is naturally black it’s hard to dye it any other color. One of my high school friends tried putting a blonde streak in his hair and he had it in for 2 hours…it turned a weird orange color!!
Yeahhh! My mum’s hair is almost as dark as mine, and when she wants brown, she buys the blonde hair-dye. Haha. I guess I have no hope.
@OhItWontBeForever - It’s okay. I think black hair looks better anyway. I love having black hair. I usually do that in the winter.
Why only winter? Haha, I am so nosey.

I don’t think these are the best ever, but I have to say they are some of my all time favorite. Still in Love Song by the Stills and Pumping on Your Stereo by Supergrass.
A few years ago a company put out DVDs of music videos by some of the more prolific music video directors. Some of my favorite have been by Michel Gondry…especially his White Stripes videos. Another I loved was “Sabotage” by The Beastie Boys.

Pork and Beans is definitely an awesome video. I am unsure what vids I think are the best, I so rarely watch them. The only time I ever do is because I pull one up in another window just to listen to the song itself.
