Poop [updated]
I didn’t take a shower today.
Now, I know you clicked on the link that says “Poop” and you’re thinking one of two things (or both): That’s disgusting; and What the HELL does that have to do with poop? It does…I promise you.
So, my roommate hasn’t cleaned the litter box in a long time. There’s cat shit all over the place in there, and it doesn’t smell very pleasant.
Also, the one cat, Sassy, gets really pissed off when the litter box gets this dirty. She poops in the bathtub.
Knowing that very soon, the cat would be doing this very thing, the last couple days I’ve kept the bathroom door shut.
Well.
My roommate left it open last night.
And guess what.
That’s right.
Sassy pooped in the tub. Which is very disgusting. As a matter of principle, I did not clean it up. I’m waiting until my roommate cleans it up.
Although, I must say, that although I don’t SMELL bad, I FEEL disgusting. I really want to take a shower.
Hopefully my roommate will have cleaned up the cat shit by the time I get home from work. Otherwise I refuse to go another day without a shower, so tomorrow morning, I may have to bend over and take it.
And clean up the cat poop in the bathtub.
UPDATE:
So I just got home from work, and the poop was still there.
Being the awesome person that I am, I cleaned it up.
Yep.
I took a paper towel, scooped it up, and put it on the kitchen counter next to her mail. Which is second best to putting it in her bed, I suppose. I really did do this. I then took a bottle of air freshener and sprayed, because it smells like shit (HA literally). I then put the bottle next to the shit on the counter. This arrangement works fine for me because I haven’t made anything in the kitchen in about 2 weeks or so.
So I’ll enjoy a shower tomorrow, or maybe a BATH later tonight (don’t worry, I also bleached the tub).

Put the cat poop in their bed. That’ll teach em a lesson
@GiantUnicorn - yea that would be funny.
Oh man, thankfully my cats let me know when they don’t like the litter box being full by just walking into it and scratching continuously.
another thing, is that is okay if you dont take a shower every day.
I take showers every other day.
But yes, I do take a shower everyday if I do sweat alot!
Hilarious! My friend’s cats used to do things like that in protest of their dirty litterbox
@GiantUnicorn - Ha, I would, but I’m too nice, even when I shouldn’t be.
@LovelyBelly - I can’t stand not taking a shower. If I don’t take a shower every day, my skin just feels gross, and I really hate that feeling. Especially my hair, it gets super greasy.
@godfatherofgreenbay - Ahhh that would be so nice….but no, lol.
@NoGraySunflowers - Yeah, if I had cats, I would make sure and clean it like every other day!
wow, nice roommate -_-
LOL! Wow… I want to hear about your roommate’s reaction when she sees the napkin of poop next to her mail…
Ewwwww. My cat used to shit everywhere when he wanted to go outside and no one would let him. If your roommate has her own room, you should totally just stick the litterbox in her room.
ewww……. next time you can smear it on her toothbrush instead.
This makes me remember why I am not a pet person.
Ha! I would like to see the reaction also.
ugh. poop in the shower. i used to keep my hamster in the shower, then it died of anxiety!
You can already tell i’m not normal…
Wow. I’ve never let my cats’ litter box get that bad so I’m not sure if they would do anything like that in protest. I usually scoop it out everyday when I take out the kitchen garbage. The longest I’ve let it go is like 3 or 4 days (and we only have one small box and 2 big cats) and it was pretty full but they didn’t complain or do anything gross. I suppose I lucked out with good cats (except when they scratch things up…or when the one gets poop stuck to her butt and the only solution she can think of is to drag her ass across the carpet. UGH)!
my cats get so mad when there litter box goes unnoticed…they have one of those with a top that keeps the smell in and i can’t see it, so if i get really busy i might forget it….the one time it happened one of my cats peed on a pillow case that he had pulled from the pile of clean clothes on the couch…i freaked when i picked it up and it was wet. but i thought it was funny that he didn’t do it on anything that i couldn’t throw in the washer, like the couch or floor, and he didn’t just pee on the whole pile of clothes, he pulled something seperate on to the floor, i’m guessing so i would notice it and pick it up…he is apparently quite smart….
Mail and cat poo!
That right there?
It’s like Wine and Cheese.
yuck.. i clean my little man’s bathroom everyday.. but your roommie should take care of her own cat as it’s not your responsibility.. needs to learn some consideration for others
U should have a recording camera right next to the mail, I would like to see her reaction
Why so passive-aggressive? Or have you already tried confronting her directly?
@SerenaDante - @LilSweetJew - @LovelyBelly - Unfortunately, she came home and I didn’t hear a peep =[ Oh well, lol!
@WifeOfAGayHusband - Heh, it’s her house, her cat…I can’t do that =[
@snapeful - Ewww lol! That’s just a little gross for me!
@afadedphotox - I love pets, but my roommate doesn’t take care of them anymore.
@among_the_megaphones - Oh the poor hampster! No one’s normal dear. It doesn’t exist.
@Persiankitty - Ha, if they were my cats I wouldn’t let it get out of control either. I would clean the litter box at least every other day!
@maxxi2031 - That’s impressive! That’s a damn smart cat!
@a_nn_ie - Yep. Well, I wanted to put it somewhere it would get noticed, lmao!
@subaru3169 - Well, she started doing meth about a month ago, she she was neglecting her kids and animals (she has 2 boys, 2 cats, and 3 dogs). Thankfully, the kids got taken away, but she still neglects the animals. She hardly remembers to feed the cats and she keeps 2 big dogs locked up in dog kennels they can barely turn around in half the day. Soooo….I’m moving out asap.
@just_the_average_jane - See comment just above…I don’t want to piss off a meth addict too much…you never know what will happen.
One of many reasons why I would never have a pet. I am too lazy. If you can’t be bothered to properly look after your pet, why choose to have one?
Ah roommates. I got my fair share of a bad roommate. To me, the key in those situations is communication. If it doesn’t work then go for stuff like that..
wow, i love how you delt with the cat shit. that’s fuckin hilarious. hehe i just for sorry for those poor animals.
good luck on finding a better place to stay.
p.s. you’re welcome for the sub.
ahahahh wow yur roommate seems like a complete ass
ah justt kidding . but payback is a bitch
i was hoping for some graphic pictures…
I think my neighbors(2 boys 20, and 22) are crack addicts.
I hate going outside because if they’re outside(they don’t have jobs so they’re almost always home) they harass me and my friends. And It’s especially creepy at night when people are leaving my house and they’re like “who are you what’s your name where do you live” They did that to one of my friends who went outside to talk on the phone. It’s like haven’t you ever learned respect? And then my boyfriend went outside and was like “hey I’d appreciate it if you didn’t bother people while they’re on the phone” not mean or anything just like common courtesy please? and he’s like “I JUST WANT TO SEE WHO’S OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE. GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY FACE!” And it’s scary because you never know if they’re going to like pull a weapon or something crazy like that.
I swear they threaten to kill each other once a day. :/
Just to say…she cleaned the litter box when she saw the shit on the counter
@happyworld_ofharibo - I know…at least you know better (jk)
@ccRowp - Well, I used to be able to communicate with her…
@vintageee_pearls - Yep…I’m actually kind of glad she didn’t give me a reaction…you never know what’s up with addicts…
@C0URRtNEYYX - Yeah, she has been lately. The sad thing is, she used to be one of my best friends before she started using.
@maniacsicko - Sorry! lol I don’t have my camera right now!
@a_nn_ie - Yea, it can be pretty intimidating dealing with drug addicts. They act like crazies when they’re coming down. I’ve had enough of this drama and I can’t wait to get out…
@crazy2love - awww that sucks. well did she try stopping ? because if yu really meant that much to her, she would stop.
@C0URRtNEYYX - She’s not going to. She started because her boyfriend is a user. He’s done so much shit to her and fucked her life up, but she’s convinced she’s in love with him. He hit her kids and left marks, so the kids got taken away. Then the kids got a no contact order against him. She lost her job because she had to miss time because she had to keep going to court. She’s not getting unemployment. He beat the shit out of her and she had to get stitches. He’s now in prison and she got the kids taken away for the 3rd time last week. After all this, she JUST got papers for a marriage license. I don’t think she’ll stop. She’s too far gone. It’s sad, but me and her other best friend agree that right now we are just going to be friends from a distance.
@crazy2love - maybe thats not what she needs right now. i mean, she could be relying on yu guys too much. she probably expects yu 2 to take care of her when she falls down after shes done doing her drugs, etc. i think what yu need to do is just let her go. she will soon realize that yu guys left her because she has a drug addiction, a bad boyfriend, and isnt responsible enough to keep her children. she will probably end up realizing that in order to be friends with yu again, she will HAVE to straighten her act up. its a harsh way to go about it, but if she really cares for her ” best friends ” then she would have gotten her act together already. fuckkkk if she cared about her children, she wouldnt have been stuck in the mess that she is in.
That’s really nasty! How can someone let a liter box go that much? it gets REALLY stinky. if her drug addiction got the kids taken away, maybe you should try to get rid of the pets. they aren’t yours and she obviously isn’t taking care of them.
it’s like my best friend’s cat. i know she was sad that he ran away and refuses to come to her or near the house, but if i was stuck with liter boxed filled to the brim with shit so that it stunk the house and probably little to no cat food, i would run away and not come back too. just like we don’t like finding our toilets with piss or shit in them, animals probably enjoy having a clean place to go to the bathroom too.
