I Could Never Be An Eskimo
I got off of work this morning just before 2AM. And it was freezing. My car tells me the temperature and it’s usually only a degree or two off. I went to start my car and what I heard was a slow whump whump whump. My car almost didn’t start! Then my car told me it was -16. Who knew what the windchill was!
Well, my car was running for about 5 minutes with the defrost full blast, but the frost on my windshield wasn’t melting fast enough. Are you kidding me?!
So I had to get out in the cold again (yes, it was cold in my car too, but warmer because there’s no wind…adur) and scrape.
It was much too cold for this.
It’s the cold that seeps into your bones and you feel like your face is going to freeze right off. You get back inside wherever and your skin hurts because of the difference. That kind of cold.
I passed a bank and it told me the temperature was -23. My car failed me. I later learned that the windchill was -40 or so.
You know you’re from a cold region when there’s a sub zero cold snap and suddenly 20 degrees feels like spring.
I hate Minnesota sometimes.

OMFG. I think it’s colder tonight than it was last night!!! I really hate this.

OMG!! I hate cold weather. We are in a cold snap here in Central Florida and it probably didn’t get past 60 today if that!

I also hate the cold weather. It was like -48 with the wind chill today (I don’t know what that is in Fahrenheit). My car wouldn’t start so I couldn’t go to work. I wasn’t too sad about it lol.

just browsing and i saw that you like a lot of different types of music. i love that. i hate when people get bogged down in one genre and can’t break free.
yeah the weather here sucks too. i don’t like cold.

this weather is insane… i heard this weekend its suppose to be in the 20′s and i got really excited for the heatwave. you know it’s cold when you think 20 is awesome… how sad.
i live in mn to it has been ridiculous these last couple days!! my car wouldn’t start at all yesterday lol i hate it
@tragicadversity - I know! I think it’s supposed to start warming up this weekend…at least, I hope so!

I live in Upstate NY and it has been below zero here lately too. It got up to around 30 today and it felt so nice. So I know what you mean to an extent, but luckily we don’t get quite as cold as you guys.
