What’s Worse???
So I’m back at my mom’s house, and there’s nothing to eat here. Is it worse to not eat, or go get something from McDonald’s???? I’m so hungry. The last time I was down here I gained like 4 pounds. They don’t know how to eat healthy and their grocery cart is pretty much always filled with fattening food and garbage. UGGH how the fuck am I supposed to stay the summer here?!? Plus, their kitchen is SO EFFING DISGUSTING. Seriously. Every time I clean it, it takes me an hour. Fucking gross, man. Seriously, is it really too much to rinse your dishes and put them in the dishwasher? It takes like half a minute!!! And the dishwasher is RIGHT THERE!!! No, instead, they leave food on the dishes and pile them in the sink, and let shit sit there until someone feels like cleaning it. Then, they put dishes in the dishwasher with food on them, and then the “clean” dishes have food stuck on them when the cycle is done. And the counters are disgusting with crumbs and shit all over…
How the fuck can anyone live this way?!?! That is NOT allowed in my house. After you cook or do anything in the kitchen, that shit gets cleaned up RIGHT AWAY. If it doesn’t, you get bitched at. The kitchen at my house is always spotless. And I like it that way.
I don’t know how I’m going to deal with this….. :/

what about subway, or something healthy? and thats always tough when people can’t keep a clean house. Put your foot down, no matter who they are. Sometimes the more responsible party needs to put their foot down. Good luck =)
Don’t starve yourself. Even if you have to eat at a fattening fast-food place, it’s better than not eating anything at all.
Give them a gift. Clean up i bit.
Don’t starve yourself! I understand completely, hugs and I wish you luck! Don’t go to subway go somewhere that has a salad or anything is better than nothing like someone else has said.
If you have to eat from mcdonalds, chose the healthier choices, or like the first commenter said, go to subway (if you can)! A half sub with some chips and a drink is around $8, not so bad.
That is a tough choice…I will go for McDonalds and the extra three pounds rather than facing the kitchen you describe.
I had to eat a fast food today was worried about it. We all went to Wendy’s and I half of a BLT Cobb salad and diet coke! What about that???
Dear Crystal,
Sounds like my late rommate Cancerboy. After living with him for a while, I just started going to restaurants all the time. That was just better and less time consuming than spending a couple of hours cleaning up the kitchen just so I could cook something that would take me ten minutes.
After he died, when I moved, I took my microwave to the local Goodwill. It still worked, mind you. I just didn’t want to spend a couple of years cleaning it before attempting to use it.
Now I live alone. I am a guy. I won’t say I’m the perfect housekeeper, but you won’t find any dishes in my sink. In fact, I wash pots, pans, etc. AS I COOK, so theres no unsightly mess to clean up after I eat.
Oh, and I almost forgot. Thank you for your recent visit to and comment on my blog.
