  • LOTS of work to do the rest of the week -_-

I feel better today, but I still have hearing problems. I hope it gets better soon. It’s been about 36 hours since I started taking antibiotics….so they better work. I know that my hearing needs to pop back, and it’s going to hurt like hell when it does. I used to get chronic ear infections as a kid, and one of the doctors told me once that I can hold my nose and gently blow like I was trying to breathe out of my noise and it should pop my hearing back. But that hasn’t been working…and I don’t wanna blow my ear drum :/ Thanks to all those who sent well wishes my way yesterday, I appreciate it.

Anyway, I have a ton of homework to do the rest of the week. I have to take a test and a quiz, write a 2000 word paper, my usual homework for sociology, and do my reading for psych. Also, I have to finish my proposal to get my school paid for by the Dislocated Worker Program so it can go to the review board next week. I had a meeting with my career counselor this morning and he helped me with the finishing touches with my paperwork. I want to get that done first so he has can prepare it for the next week’s meeting…otherwise it waits until the week after.

I hope everyone is well, and I will miss talking to people the rest of the week. Maybe I will check back every once in a while… in fact, I know I will, lol!

  • Crystal Vs. Stuff-to-do…. *dings bell* AND GO! haha.

We’ll see you around when your stuff is done and I hope you have a good weekend if we don’t hear from you soon :D

  • glad you’re feeling a little bit better

  • GPs don’t usually know a lot about that stuff. Sounds like you need to go to an ENT.

  • I was pretty sure that I would have been deaf by the time I reached 30 with all the concerts and local shows I went to. My hearing ain’t perfect but it’s still there and my tinnitus isn’t as bad. Have you tried putting a drop or two hydrogen peroxide in your ears? I do it to clear out some wax and if I feel a cold coming on.

  • Good to hear you are feeling some better. That is always a very positive sign. Often times the ear will recover by itself once the infection is gone. It won’t happen over night but you might be surprised to find it has set itself right without you being aware of it.  Take care of yourself and don’t over do. ((((HUGS))))
