They’re lying to you.
This doesn’t make any sense…
I don’t understand how they can say that this recession is over. The housing market, the KABOOM of this mess, continues to fail and get worse. People are still on tight budgets, and people still have shitty credit. People are still having problems paying their bills. Soooo, how is the economy getting better? Is it the stock market? Is that what determines everything? What the stock market is doing? I honestly don’t know what the stock market has been doing lately. But that doesn’t have anything to do with the bottom line RIGHT NOW.
Whatever. They’re all liars.
Also, the thing I’ve noticed, is that a lot of these families going on the news about their financial issues, a lot of them have a shit ton of kids. “We’ll make it work” only works when you have 1 or 2 “oops” babies. Not 4 or 5 or 6 kids. If you’re going to have that many kids, you better make sure you can care for them on your own, instead of making me and the rest of the tax payers pay for your shit. I know you love your spouse, but STOP HAVING KIDS IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD IT ON YOUR OWN.
I was just reading an article on Yahoo, and almost everyone they interviewed on food stamps had more than 4 kids. Fuck that. That shit is ridiculous.

The job market still sucks ass
I’ve been looking for a job opening sense August when I was let go from Macy’s. It sucks big time being dead ass broke.
No silly. The recession ends when the rich get richer.
I thought everyone knew that!
There was a brief pot hole in time when the mega rich were only super rich and that was the recession.
Happy days are here again!
If we don’t have a bunch of poor kids who’s going to fight in our army?
I have been pretty pissed off with gas prices. They’ve jumped up nearly 20 cents in the past week.
@dirtbubble - certainly not elected officials children
The stock market had the best September in 70 years. Of course, most Americans have little interest (financial or otherwise) in the stock market, so it’s really pointless for most people. I think that the fact that there was growth in the economy (no matter how minute it was) was enough to declare the recession over.
@dirtbubble - Illegal immigrants
I think technically the recession is over, but we are still so hurt from the effect of the recession that we’re far from recovered.
@Rob_of_the_Sky - I rest my case.
@dirtbubble - you must be good at chess
Show me the article. I need to read that.
@hilaw - Not even remotely. Chess is not about ideas.
I’m pretty passive on government issues as of late because I am simply tired of all of the debates and crap like that. I suggest watching more news since you seem to be out of the loop of what’s going on. I just ask my girlfriend, she’s smart and taking classes about society and all that good stuff. Want to hear something horrible that my girl taught me? 20% of the population has 85% of the wealth in America, leaving the rest of us 80% to fight over 15% of the cash to pay bills.
I don’t know about the economy getting better. I haven’t been able to find a job, and the other people I know are generally not doing so well, either. I’m not popping out babies, though. If only…
i agree with you! i really dont get these folk. like octomom, how the hell is she gonna look after all of those children??? is unfair on the kids too!
Agreed, it pisses me off when it’s those types of families complaining. I also get really annoyed with those TLC shows featuring HUGE families.
