So what's your fetish?

I love children. I want children. Probably 2 or 3 kids, I'd say. I've been wanting to be a mother for a few years now.

But I'm terrified. There's so much to be afraid of as a parent.

What if I don't do a good job? What if I'm not a good parent? There's so many ways your kid can end being bad of you're not a good parent. They can become criminals, have addictions to drugs and alcohol... the thought is so scary. Of course, I would still love my child, but I would be so disappointed; probably more in myself than my child.

What if my child ends up hating me? I would be so sad I couldn't take it. I would be devastated.

Then there's all the other things that can go wrong. Kidnapping, illness, diseases. I think about all the things you have to think about when you're a parent. It's like your life instantly changes. You are responsible for another person.

I really am terrified to be a parent.

So, sitting at work, with nothing to do. Yeah, my company is spending their money wisely.....

Anyways, last night I checked out the Xanga IM. It's a pretty sweet feature, I'd say. I lurve it.

But I kind of hate it too. This is a blogging site, and I kind of feel like the IM takes a lot away from that. Maybe it's just because it was the first night and it was out of control, but I got like NO blogging done. Out of all my friends, there was about 80 online, and I had 5-6 chats going at once. It's hard to keep up with just that, but also reading your posts. I think sometimes I will log off the IM so I can blog, but I enjoy being able to chat with you guys, so sometimes I will hang out there.

So, I started going through and visiting all the people that commented my last post. It's a lot!! I'm only the first page and there's more than 4 pages!! I'll get through it all though, I promise!!

Yeah, if you don't want to chat, you can edit your chat settings. Or, you can edit your settings so that it doesn't automatically sign you in if you don't want to chat ALL the time. Also, you can just put the "Busy" on. TheXangaTeam wrote a post about it yesterday. And I just discovered if you don't have another window open and you write a post, you get signed out! zomg. Anyways, check out the chat settings.

I've never gone through my friends list and deleted people. On the somewhat-new home page, where they put nine random friends? Yeah, half the time (or more) I don't recognize these people. Did they fall off the face of xanga? Do they post at times I'm not online?

I don't even remember adding them sometimes. Are these the people that added me? Ones that read my posts but rarely/never comment??

If I tried going through all my friends, it would take me forever to get reacquainted with everybody.

I tell you what. If you comment this post, I will go to your page and get to know you again. Unless I know you very well, I will comment the latest post. Unless I've already done that.... then I don't know what.
