I'm reading The Book Thief. It's fucking fabulous =] I love it.

I'm sick of this.

It makes me sad.

And mad.

Why are amazing people leaving?

(This isn't because any one person left today, I mean just in general)

Every once in a while, the pure idiocy of people on the road get me IRATE, and I can't take it anymore.

*If there is more than one lane and you are in the fast lane and not going fast enough, MOVE THE FUCK OVER. If you're too stupid to know when you aren't going fast enough, let me give you a CLUE: If you look in the rearview mirror and there is someone on your ass or a long ass line of cars behind you, then move the fuck over. The ONLY time you do not have to move over is if you aren't the fucktard leading the pack, meaning you aren't the one going slow...someone in front of you is.

*If you're merging onto the highway from an on-ramp, SPEED THE FUCK UP. YOU aren't going to be the one getting rear ended because you're merging too slow, I AM, because I'm behind you. Listen, you CAN'T merge successfully if you're going 30-40MPH and traffic is going 65+. The ONLY time it's acceptable is if there is a sharp curve on the on-ramp. Otherwise, you have an accelerator for a reason, moron. USE IT.

*At a stop light, PLEASE don't leave enough room between you and the vehicle in front of you to fit an 18-wheeler. That is fucking RIDICULOUS.

*At a stop light, GREEN means GO. So wake the FUCK up from your nap and go, so the rest of us don't miss the fucking light because you're an IDIOT.

*Don't ever ride MY ass. I'm NEVER the one going to slow for you, k chief? If I'm going slow, that means there are people in front of ME going too slow. If it wasn't raining, I would stomp on my brakes. HARD.

So, that's what pissed me off today. I see more stupid moves on the road, but I don't want to do a long post about it. Also, I won't apologize for my language. When I'm pissed, I cuss. A lot. And one thing about me is that I generally don't hold back my anger. So people need to learn how to fucking drive, and get a fucking clue. I don't know how half these people get their driver's licenses.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mama's out there! Today my mom, step dad, and sister went to Treasure Island to the buffet for lunch. Nom nom nom! I took some photos....and I can't get the ones from my phone because I don't have the cord.... but I will post those tomorrow =]

"Well, son, what's the prognosis?" The doctor inquired.

"Well, it's not looking good Doctor," the young man answered. The stiff white coat hung around his ankles, flapping from the breeze of a nearby air vent.

"Son, it's a little chilly in here. Mind turning up the heat?" The doctor couldn't move. Everything was stiff, even his eyeballs.

"Yes, Doctor, we are in the fridge. Can't turn up the heat in here." The young man seemed a bit sad, his breath coming out in short puffs. It seemed so strange to see.

"Son, if I don't make it, could you tell my family I love them?" The doctor asked.

"Yes Doctor," the young man replied. It seemed such a standard thing to say. Didn't they know already?

"Son, why can't I move my arms and legs?" The doctor thought it such a peculiar thing.

"Because you're dead doctor." The young man just looked at him with sad eyes.

The doctor could see himself now. He was cold and a bit blue. His eyes wide open and staring into nothing.

"Well, we can't all be alive," the doctor remarked.

"Tell me about it," the young man said, as he started cutting the doctor's chest. No blood ran out. The Y incision opened him right up for all to see. His ribs cracked.

The doctor was silent.

If you haven't seen this movie, you have to. It's SO good, and the ending will have your head spinning. I can't tell you what happens, so you'll have to see it to know what I'm talking about. If you get to the end of the movie and you don't understand, just think of the title of the movie.

It might make you cry. I know I'm close to tears....

So, I just watched Paper Heart, a documentary about love. This young woman goes around the country, interviewing people about the love they've experienced. She ends up meeting Michael Cera, and the movie kind of takes a turn and follows them as their relationship develops. I thought it was pretty good.

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could do something for me. In a comment or a post (I think it would be easier in a post), answer the following questions: Have you ever been in love? How did you know it was love? How did it make you feel? What were your thoughts? Describe the moment you realized you were in love. If you would like to, you can write further about whether or not it worked out and what happened, but I don't want to ask that of you if you don't want to share your heartbreak.

I am a romantic at heart, and I'm really interested in seeing everyone's responses. If you write a post, make sure and tag me so I can read it!

I pulled a gray hair out yesterday. It was a terrible experience.

Another terrible experience was work today. The person that works with me called in so I was by myself....it was crazy. Because I'm frazzled from that and overwhelmed by the response on my post yesterday, not much of a post today. So, here's a video for your viewing pleasure....it's business time!!

I am DEEPLY saddened to see that Manstration shut down her site. Has anyone talked to her? Why did she do this? I love her, and now I'm very upset. What a terrible day this has been. I really think I might cry.

Well, here it is. 1,000 posts by crazy2love, or Crystal. It's taken 6 years, 5 months, and 26 days to get to this point.

There are so many things that I love about Xanga, and one of them is how supportive people are around here. We have our bad eggs and assholes, sure, but for the most part, the people here are amazing. Most of us are open-minded individuals from all walks of life. We get into arguments sometimes, and we have our share of drama, no doubt about that. One of the things I love most is that people tell me how much they love reading what I write, even when it seems boring and lame to me. I feel so loved =]

I have always avoided making a list of my favorite xangans, because I always feared people would get upset that I missed them. This time though, I have put together a list. If you'll notice, it's a bit longer than other lists you've seen....and I love all my xanga friends, so don't feel left out if you're not on it =] So, in no particular order.....

roadlesstaken- What's not to like about him? He's a very nice guy, and he's cute too.
Queen_of_You188- She is so awesome! She's so sweet and recs everything she likes =]

TimeLostMeaning- He's a smart guy with a good head on his shoulders, and knows pretty much where he wants to go in life. Admirable.

Anyway, nothing interesting to report today, except for the fact that I HATE road construction!! Well, it usually ends up improving something by the time it's done, but while it's going on, it's a royal pain in the ass.

A couple of weeks ago, my way TO work was closed down for construction. I do not know when they will be done. On the way to work, I now have to go about 6-7 miles out of my way. There's no other way to do it.

Now today, they shut down a DIFFERENT part of my way HOME. There's no way to get around this one either, so that's about 5-6 miles out of my way on the way home. Who knows how long these projects are going to last....GRRRR this sucks :/
