  • Who Thinks of This Shit?

I can’t stand people who think they know everything just because they have a degree. They throw this little piece of paper around that says they went to college, and suddenly they know all. They know how everything works and how a process will work. Sure, it looks good on paper….but what about the snags? The problems?

Well, these kinds of people also think that there will be no problems. Ever.

    UGHHHHH

    Okay, /end rant.

I might not be around much tonight, because I really want to finish reading this book….I’ll stop in every once in a while =]

  • SHIT-HEADS THINK OF THIS SHIT.

    haha. G’luck!

  • the more degrees I have the more problems I see, so I guess I’m just a misfit for this theory.  I hope so anyway!

  • When I worked as a bill collector, my favorite response from people I had to call was “I don’t owe any money!  I have a Ph.D!”

    Logic fail.

  • I have no idea who thinks of things but I do have the same questions on a regular basis.

  • People like that drive me mad.

Life is a better teacher than any school. And that piece of paper amounts to very little when life throws the invariable curve-balls.

  • i have a friend who laminated his degrees to the bottom of his toilet bowls so he poops on them every day.  degrees do not really make one smart.

    enjoy your book

  • Degrees are great in the business world but ultimately prove very little. Sadly I know some ignorant girls and boys that are in school for top paying type fields and they are the worst kind of people. Anyone can go to a cheap institution and get a nursing degree too. I know plenty of run of the mill idiots that do it. It really irritates me a bit. My boyfriends mom thinks her children are much better than me because they are in school. I was in school at one point as well until I realized that I wasn’t being stimulated. I wasn’t learning outside of the box. This happens to a lot of people. They read the textbooks and they can do the math or understand a sickness, but they don’t get the deeper matters.

    @buddy71 - Amazing.

  • @cutesycharm - so sorry that your bf’s mom thinks that way.

“They read the textbooks and they can do the math or understand a sickness, but they don’t get the deeper matters.”  so true.

  • Haha.  There are times where I encounter situations and I think, “Man, I have a 4 year degree and I don’t know what I’m suppose to do here” and/or “I just feel really stupid and I have a degree”  It’s just a piece of paper, it never tells you much of anything important.

  • now now, they pay ALL that money and get in ALL that debt to pawn themselves off as educated.

  • I know people at church that are preachers that act like that, just
because you have a piece of paper means they are a much better person.
It bugs me too. Your not alone

  • I concur. But not everyone is like that, thankfully.

Enjoy your book, would you like to share which book it is?
