A Blog With A Purpose
I wish I could write a blog with a specific purpose, a certain topic.
I just watched Julie & Julia. Have you ever seen it? It’s a movie about a 30 year old woman who decides to write a blog about cooking. It isn’t just a blog about cooking. She gives herself exactly 1 year to cook 524 recipes from a certain cookbook. A cookbook written partly by Julie Child, about mastering cooking French cuisine.
Watching this movie made me want to write a blog with a purpose. The problem is that I wouldn’t know what it would be, this topic. I guess everyone will have to endure my nonsense :/
I will try to be a better blogger.

I pushed myself to blog with a purpose..not completely there yet, but somewhat lol.
And that movie sounded boring, but it sounds Okay now that you give some insight on it.
I don’t think blogging always has to have a purpose though. I think being mindful of what you’re writing is important, but for the most part you are blogging for yourself and other people just happen to be reading. It will be cool to read what you write. :0)
I love that movie!!! It combines two of my biggest passions: writing and cooking. How can I not love it? It had the same effect on me. You’re not a bad blogger. Your rambling updates are a joy to read as well as your creative writing and blogs with a purpose.
I think it would be extremely hard to blog about only one topic. There’s no way I could do it – it would be way too hard to stick with one area of focus. I suppose for me blogging has been an extension of journalling and a way to personal growth, so that necessarily means switching up the topics. (Back in the day I had a separate xanga for a particular issue I experienced, and kept it probably for a couple of years, but eventually decided it had served its purpose and shut it down.)
I actually enjoyed that movie. I am still trying to figure out why Julia Child hated the notion of the blog.
