I just read a lot of cities are not going to be setting fireworks off for the 4th of July. My city (for some weird reason) sets off the fireworks on the 3rd, so I already saw the fireworks here. I did notice that, although the fireworks lasted the same amount of time, they set them off further apart and not as many as they usually do.

But wouldn't you think that even though the economy is bad, wouldn't setting off fireworks like normal help the economy? I mean, the fireworks need to be made, shipped, and everything else. That's helping stimulate some jobs, right? Instead, the firework makers are probably laying people off. Well, whatever.

I'm also going up to Duluth tomorrow to see their fireworks. I love the fireworks in Duluth, they're awesome. I might post a video when I get home.
