funeral shoes.
I went shopping today for funeral clothes. I have a pair of slacks, grey pinstripe. I had no blouse and no shoes. I bought a conservative black blouse (Side note…I’m surprised Lane Bryant hasn’t gone out of business yet. They’re clothes are ridiculously priced). Then I went for shoes. DSW…no. Famous Footwear…no. Payless…no. Doesn’t anyone have funeral shoes?? Plain, black heels. Not shiny. No open toes. No strappy stilettos. DSW had some. But I’m not paying $50+ for brand name shoes that I’ll never wear again. When I go out, I wear better shoes.
Well, tomorrow I’ll look at Sears, JC Penny and Kohl’s.
