Nothing creative flows through my mind. Is that bad? Am I losing my ability? I wonder…I haven’t written anything in a very very long time. I can’t. I’m distracted. Is anything ever going to work right? If it’s not one thing, I swear, it’s another! “this love has taken it’s toll on me”
Hangin round downtown by myself…

No you’re not losing your ability. You have temporarily misplaced your focus. Write something every day, and that will get you going. Doesn’t have to be a lot, doesn’t have to be great, topic at your whim, but write something. Inspiration doesn’t just come, we have to bring it forth by work. The Muse must be wooed.
That’s happened to me. sometimes inspiration seems to run away from you and you really don’t have anything to write about. Just take some time out of your day, if you can, and walk somewhere you haven’t before. Listen to someone else’s conversation. Pick something small; something beautiful; something ugly. and just work from there. Don’t worry, it happens to all good writers.
Oh! That reminds me, have you ever seem Kiki’s Delivery Service? It’s about a witch who goes to live in this new town and… blah blah. Well it’s really good. I like it a lot. It’s animated and funny. But that reminded me of the movie because in the movie, Kiki loses her withcing abilities like riding her broom and talking to her cat, but I forgot why. She lost her talents…. because of something. Like she hadn’t discovered why she wanted to do stuff, so she just couldn’t anymore until she figured out why. I hope that helps you.
